Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM
The proceedings, which will be placed on CD-ROM, will make your presentation available to every attendee and provide you with the broadest exposure possible. Conference attendees consistently say it is crucial to have the speakers’ materials to use during the sessions and to preview the content for session selection.  Attendees always express disappointment if materials are not made available.

Please refer to the Conference Proceedings Information, for instructions on how to prepare your materials. An email with the required presentation template will be sent to you in late November/early December. Contact Florence or Michelle with any questions.

The deadline for submitting your presentation materials for the proceedings on CD-ROM is February 13th, 2009.

Your electronic presentation will be an important part of your session and should be used to enhance and reinforce your message.

SPEAKER COMMITMENT

As a speaker at NCOF, you have committed to present this session, and all the preparation that it entails. In return, NCOF agrees to promote you, your company and your presentation to its attendees through a vast promotional campaign. Both you and NCOF have made a promise to our attendees to deliver the session as published, including the topic and the speaker.

NO SALES PITCHES!!!
Sales pitches turn off session participants, so it’s actually the worst thing to do.
It is imperative that your presentation is not a sales pitch for you or your company. No NCOF speaker may use a conference session for commercial sales pitches, self-promotion or unfair criticism of a competitor. If it is determined that a speaker presented a sales pitch, that company and speaker will be excluded from future events.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST AN EVENT DURING THE CONFERENCE?

Some of our participating speaker companies have agreed to host either after parties, or onsite experiences for the attendees. If you have a great idea on how to engage the attendees in a different way, please call Florence to discuss. In most cases, if we can logistically accommodate what you’d like to do…we’ll do it.
